The cartoon space isn’t nearly large enough to accommodate every local public official or figure who’s been either indicted or convicted for federal corruption charges during the past three years.
Unfortunately, this seems to have little effect on the region’s longstanding political culture. Local observers shake their heads and talk about how sad it is, and how it negatively affects NEPA’s image. Practically, though, there’s no sign of change for a region known for an overpopulation of crooked pols.
